Window Walk in Central West End

It’s time to squeeze in all your holiday fun! The historical urban area of Central West End is a perfect backdrop for the nostalgia and wonder of this season.

Their event, Window Walk, is in its 11 year of operation.  Every Saturday in December from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. visitors can stroll down Euclid Ave enjoying the age-old tradition of viewing decorated holiday windows. These windows are designed by local artists and interior decorators. Visitors are able to enjoy free festive activities such as ice carvings, carriage rides, carolers, live music, street performers, and pictures with Santa. There are street treats like kettle corn and s’mores but you wouldn’t want to leave without warming up with some hearty meals from any one of CWE’s amazing restaurants. Pi Pizzeria, Vino, Provisions and the AC Hotel will be offering specially crafted holiday cocktails.

Behind every thriving community are people working behind the scenes making sure it does so. CWE supports its small business through the Community Improvement District Act. The CID helps this area to thrive through events like Window Walk. Other larger events include Back in Bloom, Cocktail Party, and Halloween. The CID allows for marketing, neighborhood beautification, and providing additional safety measures as well.

Head out to the Central West End for a fun-filled afternoon and support local businesses. Have a joyous holiday season!
